Inked: Recent Long Island real estate deals

Universal Photonics has purchased a 55,100-square-foot warehouse on 3.4 acres at 85 Jetson Drive in Central Islip for $3.5 million. Universal Photonics, which makes materials for specialty optical lenses, is relocating from Hicksville and received economic incentives from the Islip Industrial Development Agency. Chuck Tabone of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in Melville represented the buyer and Richard Cohen of Hauppauge-based Ashlind Properties represented the seller, North American Enclosures, in the deal.
