Optical manufacturer expanding with $6.6M Bohemia acquisition

Designs For Vision, a specialty optical manufacturer, is expanding in Bohemia.
The company purchased a 33,600-square-foot industrial building on 2.2 acres at 10 Orville Drive for $6.6 million.
Designs For Vision’s headquarters is located in a 70,000-square-foot building at 4000 Veterans Memorial Highway that’s nearly adjacent to its new property.
Founded more than 70 years ago, Designs For Vision manufactures precision optical products for surgeons, dentists and other medical professionals.
Richard Cohen of Ashlind Properties represented the buyer, as well as the seller, 10 Orville Drive LLC, a real estate entity of CWG Wireless, in the sales transaction.
